Transforming Your Life Through Intention with Kristina Furia, Self-Transformation Coach

After spending ten years as a mental health counselor and a psychotherapist, Kristina finally had a revelation of her true calling to become a self-transformation coach (“On the second day I just had this aha moment of ‘Oh my God, this is my work.”). Getting into this line of work was born out of her own personal transformation. This all started from her taking a step back and acknowledging that where she was and where she wanted to be were not aligned. This realization sparked the personal transformation in her own life which ultimately led to her realizing her passion for helping others transform their individual lives.

Kristina helps others in their transformations through the act of observing and learning how to self-coach themselves. This transformation opens you up to the ability to switch the voices in your head that guide you and allow you to tap into the voices that will build you up and take you to a higher frequency in your life.

At the same time, she also teaches you the importance of slowing down and being still. The world we live in moves at such a rapid pace and is always pushing us to be busy, when the reality is, we just need to slow down and make space for ourselves. Kristina encourages us to do so by going out and experiencing nature saying, “The frequency of nature is very much in alignment with the intuitive part of us.”

She is also a firm believer that all emotions are a part of the human experience and a part of the journey to living a happier and healthier life. However, she also believes that we need to feel those emotions and then let them flow out of us, instead of letting them linger. She explains that we do this through practicing gratitude and being aware of both the energy we take in and the energy we put out into the world.

Kristina also believes that mindset is a huge part of her work as well. It is impossible to transform your life without the right mindset and without a willingness and desire to do so. She explains how we can begin to shift our mindset and how to lift ourselves up through the practice of using affirmations. She encourages us to keep our affirmations in check by asking ourselves, “Are these [affirmations] aligned with my ego or are they aligned with the part of me that is simply looking to go forward.”

In Kristina’s episode of the Love Intently Podcast, we chat about her personal story of transformation, her beliefs around manifestation, how to change your frequency, how to observe your thoughts and honor your feelings, and so much more. - How Kristina got out of being a therapist and into transformational work (“On the second day I just had this aha moment of ‘Oh my God, this is my work.”)

- Kristina’s personal transformation (“Once I had a clear vision on where I wanted to be, I then fill in the blanks of what I needed to be doing.”)

- The importance of observing your thoughts (“By being an on going observer of your thoughts, you can go in there and create change.”)

- How to “self-coach” (“Offer what you need to hear in the moment.”)

- Switching the voices you are guided by (“You begin to be guided by the voice of what you truly do want.”)

- The importance of slowing down and being still  (“The body will provide in those ways but we need to make space for it. The easiest way to make space for it is to be still.”)

- Why getting out in nature is important (“The frequency of nature is very much in alignment with the intuitive part of us.”)

- What manifesting really looks like (“Manifesting is energy gathering itself.”)

- How changing your frequency attracts other people (“I naturally became a match for a whole different set of experiences by changing the dominant frequency that I was on.”)

- The importance of still feeling our feelings and not stuffing them down (“We need to feel the full extent of our feelings because that is the human experience.”)

- How to let the emotional experience move through you and be an observer of your thoughts (“Allow the emotions to move through you and be an observer of your thoughts so that you aren’t continually cycling through the same material.”)

-  How to honor our feelings without letting them consume us (“We want to honor our feelings fully but not get so stuck in them that it creates a new way of existing in the world based on that pain.”)

- The importance of gratitude (“If we tap into feelings of gratefulness, we will call forth more to be grateful for.”)

- The struggles of making this work accessible to all (“One of my core missions is to make this work accessible to people.”)

- The importance of mindset in this work (“Our thoughts create our reality so if we’re constantly living in these self-limiting thoughts that are going to trigger an emotional experience as well.”)

- How observing and doing the work go hand in hand (“Without the mindset work we are just going to be observing the patterns without changing them.”)

- Kristina’s favorite affirmation (“I am calm and confident.”)

- How to keep your affirmations in check (“Are these aligned with my ego or are these aligned with the part of me that is simply looking to go forward.”)

What does Love Intently mean to Kristina: “When we step into the frequency of love we become capable of doing things that we could never otherwise do.”
